Children's Ministry

The Children’s Ministry of GraceLife Church exists to come alongside families in the biblical training of children. We recognize that the primary responsibility of bringing up children in the “training and admonition of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4) is the job of the Father and Mother. We also recognize that in our society there is a blend of families such as single parents, adoptive parents, foster parents, grandparents raising grandchildren, etc. No matter the family background of each child, we want our children’s ministry to be a quality teaching ministry for children (birth to fifth grade) when they come to church. To accomplish this goal, the Children’s Ministry Leadership Team strives to coordinate planning among children workers, parents, and other church leaders so everyone works from the same principles to better meet the children’s spiritual needs. Of course, we also want to be mindful of each child’s physical, social, mental, and emotional needs. We want to make our Children’s Ministry a safe and loving environment in which children can learn about God and what it means to be a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

Student Ministry

The Student Ministry of GraceLife Church exists to come alongside families in the biblical training of youth from 6th-12th grade. We recognize that the primary responsibility of bringing up teenagers in the “training and admonition of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4) is the job of the Father and Mother. We also recognize that in our society there is a blend of families such as single parents, adoptive parents, foster parents, grandparents raising grandchildren, etc. Regardless of the family background of each student, we want our student ministry to be a place where students can learn about God and what it means to be a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

Students at GraceLife have many opportunities to get involved. Each Wednesday night we have a worship service for youth led by our Youth Praise Band and our youth minister. Throughout the year our student ministry provides a chance for students to participate in ministry and missions in the church and community. We have monthly events for fellowship and fun in the Lord. We also have various youth retreats throughout the year to facilitate spiritual growth.

Parents and other adults have a very important role in GraceLife Student Ministry. Whether it is serving on our Student Ministry Team, leading a small group, or being a chaperone at an event, adults are a vital part our ministry to students. They provide a godly example for our students and build spiritually-focused relationships to encourage and challenge students to live for Christ at home and at school.
